I’ve been trying to eat higher protein lately. Here is a list of some of my favorite foods to bring with me on my travels.

1. Protein Bars
My favorite are RX Bars. They’re healthy and made with all natural ingredients.
RXBAR Real Food Protein Bar, Peanut Butter, Gluten Free, 1.83oz Bars, 12 Count
2. Nut Butter / PB2
I am currently obsessed with RX Nut Butter
If you want something with less fat but still a lot of protein, try PB2! I portion the powder in bags and mix it with oatmeal.
PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter – 6.5oz
3. Jerky
Country Archer Gluten Free Antibiotic Free Turkey Jerky, Hickory Smoke, 8 Ounce
Epic Jerky Bites, 100% Wild Caught, Maple Glazed & Smoked, Alaskan Salmon, Coconut Oil 2.5 oz. Pouch
4. Canned Tuna / Salmon
Safe Catch Elite Wild Tuna – 12 pack (3oz pouch)
Wild Planet Wild Pink Salmon – Boneless and Skinless – 6oz (Pack of 12)
5. Chickpeas
6. Protein Powder
7. Broad Beans
8. Dried Edamame
*Bonus*
If you have a way to keep food cold for a while you can also bring:
7. Boiled Eggs
8. Greek Yogurt
9. Cottage Cheese
10. Packaged Cheese Snacks
Great snack ideas! I will definitely be trying some of them. Even though I don’t travel by air very much, I think these would be great to have with you in the car.
