I know we’re already a week into the New Year. I’ve been meaning to post this for a month but I kept procrastinating.
Here are my top 5 goals for the year!
1. Learn Spanish
I at least want to to learn enough to help me at work. I go to a lot of destinations where most people speak Spanish and knowing the language would really help me out. I’ve also always wanted to learn and work just gives me more motivation. If you have any tips or know the best apps / websites / YouTube channels to make learning Spanish easier for me, please DM me or comment down below!
2. Get a Regular Work / Sleep Schedule
Because I’m a flight attendant, my schedule is never the same. I always have different report times and that messes up my sleep cycle. My goal this year is to always go to bed by 2am and wake up by 10am. So I will try to get trips that have later report times and avoid red eyes. Waking up at 10am probably seems late to a lot of people but I feel my best when I don’t have to wake up early – also this is a more obtainable goal because a lot of the time I don’t get off work until midnight.
3. Get a Regular Exercise Routine
Again, with my current schedule it is hard to regularly exercise. I think I need to first accomplish a regular work/sleep schedule to achieve this goal. I’m trying to make a routine I can do completely in my hotel rooms too. Check out The Best Exercise Equipment to Travel with
4. Eat More Protein and Be Healthier
I want to plan my meals ahead of time when I’m working so I don’t end up constantly eating fast food or gross airport food. I also want to eat as little fried food and added sugar as possible.
5. Visit at least 3 New Countries
In 2019 I want to visit at least 3 new countries if not more! Norway is always on the top of my list but others I want to go to this year are England, Italy, and France.
I aren’t learning a new spoken language but I’m hoping to learn sign language this year! Great post, it’d mean a lot if you checked my recent one out too x
Great goals! Me too.
